Overview
ChromiumExtensions ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our browser extensions collect, use, and safeguard your information.
Information We Collect
Anonymous Identifier
When you install any of our extensions, we generate a unique anonymous identifier (UUID) that is stored locally on your device. This UUID:
- Contains no personal information
- Cannot be traced back to you
- Is used solely to prevent service abuse
- Is never shared with third parties
Usage Data
Our extensions may collect:
- The type of extension being used
- General usage statistics (number of requests)
- Error logs for debugging purposes
Content Processing
When you use our extensions:
- Content from web pages (e.g., Reddit comments) is sent to our AI service for processing
- This content is processed in real-time and immediately discarded
- We do not store, log, or retain any content you process
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Browsing history
- Cookies or tracking data
- IP addresses (beyond standard server logs)
- Location data
- Any form of personal data
How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used to:
- Provide AI-powered summaries and content generation
- Prevent abuse and ensure fair usage
- Debug and improve our services
- Generate anonymous usage statistics
Data Storage and Security
- Your UUID is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API
- We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all communications
- Our servers process requests in memory and do not persistently store user content
- We use Cloudflare's infrastructure for enhanced security and performance
Third-Party Services
Our extensions use the following third-party services:
- OpenAI API: For AI-powered text generation. Content sent to OpenAI is subject to their privacy policy, though we configure requests to be as anonymous as possible.
- Cloudflare: For hosting and content delivery. Standard server logs may apply.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Use our extensions without providing any personal information
- Uninstall our extensions at any time, which removes all local data
- Contact us with privacy concerns or questions
Children's Privacy
Our extensions are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

California Privacy Rights
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since we do not collect personal information, these rights are not applicable to our service.
European Users
For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR requirements. Since we do not collect personal data, most GDPR provisions do not apply. The anonymous UUID cannot be used to identify you and therefore is not considered personal data under GDPR.
